Ohm Product Of The Week: TRS-112/115.
In this weekly series we are taking a look through the catalogue of our favourite local speaker manufacturer Ohm and highlighting some of their amazing product line up.
This time, it's the TRS-112 and TRS-115. Very capable and multifunctional speakers, great for monitor, fill or main PA duties. Both models are available in passive and active versions.
TRS-112 and TRS-115 are multi-purpose, symmetrically angled cabinets designed for stage monitoring and general PA applications. Either flown or pole mounted this compact wedge is ideal for mirroring applications as both wedge angles are the same.
The steep 45 degree angle of the wedge also makes these speakers perfect monitors for far-field applications like theatre and medium sized stage use. Using our own in-house designed and built drivers give depth and clarity which is unrivalled whilst Ohm’s renowned build quality makes this cabinet an easy choice.
OHM’s proprietary 12” 300w (112) and 15" 500W (115) cast bass driver and 1” compression driver components come together through an internal passive crossover, creating a smooth linear sound.
The 112 has a frequency response of 75 Hz to 21 kHz (-10 dB) across 90° x 40° dispersion while delivering an impressive 131 dB (peak) SPL.
The 115 has a frequency response of 68 Hz to 21 kHz (-10 dB) across 60° x 40° dispersion while delivering an impressive 135 dB (peak) SPL.
The robust monitor is designed with a HEX design front grill, hardwearing Polyurea paint finish and integrated steel carry handle. Integrated rubber feet are located on 3 sides of the monitor for securing in multiple positions.
Mounting options include an integrated pole mount as well as optional flying eyes and wall mounting hardware.
